Graduation marks the end of one part of your life and the beginning of unlimited possibilities. This is the moment when you take the lessons of parents, teachers and everyone else who have impacted your life in so many ways and begin to make your own way in the world. Never again will the security of Middleville, TK High School or your parent’s home protect you from life’s challenges. There can be no higher honor than being asked to take part in your graduation. Being recognized by those who have endured opinionated and demanding Mr. Replogle is quite humbling. This is not because I care whether or not you like me, but because I feel that you respected what I tried to do for each of you. I have always tried to be honest and upfront with you and challenge you to achieve more than even you thought possible of yourselves. It is very rewarding to be recognized by you for that.
Every year, I leave my students with the saying that the greatest form of respect is to be challenged to do more than we think possible, because it shows that someone believes in us. I do believe in you and know that you will accomplish great works the rest of your life if you approach it with passion, honesty and dedication. The groundwork has been laid; it is up to you to build wisely and diligently upon that foundation. May God bless you and keep you in all that you do. Good
