For example, if the individual has their arms crossed they are probably not too happy. If the individual has a frown they are most likely upset. It is important to pay attention to these details in becoming a better active listener.

Asking questions and making statements in relation to the topic being discussed is an example of door openers. For instance, responding to the speaker with comments such as, that is interesting, or questions such as, can you tell me more? Are a few good examples of Door Openers.
