It carries a wide array of anti-ground oriented weapons that are integrated with sophisticated sensors, navigation, and fire systems. It also relies on visual targeting. Despite all the armor and weapons, it is still an easy target given it only flies at about 7,000 feet. These planes can carry large amounts of cargo or even larger artillery or tanks. Introduction, the Ac-130 was introduced in 1968 while the Apache was introduced in 1986. Well the Apache is definitely grand, certainly not to be messed with, but the AC-130 is by far bigger and badder in all ways. The purposes, the weaponry, and the specs are all very interesting things to know about these two aircraft. In conclusion the Apache is definitely a very grand and powerful war machine but is does not hold light on the Ac-130 gunship.The Apache is great for support and back up as well as the AC-130.
