This chapter elaborates the glimpse of the findings of this study which was analysed in the previous chapter. The conclusions have been drawn to provide an overview of the results generated from the study and recommendations have been provided as the solutions for the research questions.
5.2. Conclusion
This research was conducted to identify the relationship between Economic Factors and Air Cargo Demand at BIA. In this research three dependent variables such as Total Air Cargo Volume, Air Cargo Imports, and Air Cargo Exports are tested against ten independent variables namely, GDP, Per capita GDP, Inflation Rate, Average Exchange Rate, Interest Rate, Government Revenue, Government Expenditure, Government Debts, Unemployment rate and Population to identify the relationship between them. With using above mentioned variables, three multiple regression models were generated to identify the factors which are affecting to the Air Cargo Volume.
According to the correlation analysis of Total Air Cargo volume and Air Cargo Export volume, it shows a same correlation. In these two situations all variables except Inflation Rate and Interest Rate are significant. Interest rates also become significant according to the 5% confidence level. With relevant to above observations it can be concluded …show more content…
