The illness that the patient is having is (ALS). The patient is suffering from a disease that suffer from the brain cells and spinal cord which affects the nerve cord. The problem that the patient is going through in this disease is that they lose control of their muscle movement. It causes them to lose their ability to move, breathe, eat, and speak.

The name of the disease is called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is also known as the Lou Gehrig disease. Most people in this time now know the disease as

The outcome that will happen to Stephen Hawking is that he has ALS is that his body is paralyze. His early stage of ALS, he had a hard time walking and speaking. He slowly started to lose the ability to read and write. He must have a person help him eat, speak, and walk. During the next few years of his life, he had a very hard time breathing. He had to go to the hospital numerous of times because he had pneumonia.

The causes that will happen to the patient emotions is that they feel that they are depress, frustrated and wanting to commit. The reason that they would feel this way is because they would want to figure out way for the doctors to cure the disease. There are many diseases that the doctors are not able to be cure.
