Having a dynamic mindset offers a positive aspect of situations that can harness your focus to being an optimistic and effective individual. Through developing listening skills, such as paraphrasing, repeating, probing, clarifying, and remembering will assist in having a proactive mindset. Habit 2: “Begin with the End in Mind”, emphasizes having an end goal to everything you are involved in. Dr. Magee’s “Listening” presentation, the commercial of the frustrated car owner, displayed the lack of having the “End in mind.” If the car owner were to have researched the car, then he wouldn’t have been left with an useless vehicle. Habit 3: “Put first things first”, is the initiative to accomplishing your goals. In order accomplish them, you have to actually execute them.
