You will read that Washington had help along the way of becoming the schoolmaster from the professors that he had while going through his educational dream and helping out his race. Washington wasn 't only trying to push education to African Americans but he wanted more of his race to be in the political view like the white man. He first aspired that he wanted to be a teacher when he worked in the salt mill, his first symbols that he knew was 18, and that was his barrel in the mill. After Washington realized he wanted to get an education and learn how to not just read and write but obtain a knowledge that not many Negros had. Washington 's argument to people wondering what he was trying to do, he would explain his plan that to where you would understand, that African Americans have been put down not only because of skin but because most didn 't know have an education, Washington would preach about how the white people are the wrong ones in the race for that we looked like assholes with racism and that the blacks where the sane ones. After Washington graduates from Hampton he wants to further more his education, and goes south to Tuskegee, Alabama where he learned and taught as well, he taught students the same way he was taught by not just being able to have everything isn 't handed to you but you can work towards a successful life, he wanted people to want to be successful and have a common sense on life as well.
