He recruits ‘fishers of men’ and feeds the -crowd loaves and fishes...He is harsher with his disciples in Mark than he was in Matthew- frequently indignant, almost mocking them (2:8,3:33,4:25, 8:21, 9:19,12:23). If not for the introduction given by Matthew, I could see this as quite troubling to marry to our 21st image of Him.
