“You’re just a baby, you don’t understand,” said Rabbit and Squirrel. “We need to do something about this!” Said Squirrel.
“We should defend ourselves!” Said Rabbit, “We need to-”
But he was interrupted by an Old Moose, “I can help,” he calmly said. “I’ve grown old, and I’m not as strong as I used to be. Also, food has grown scarce where I live, so I might have to leave. But, if you give me enough food for a week, I will give you some large sticks from trees so you can defend yourselves. Do we have a deal?”
Rabbit and Squirrel debated for a while, but finally agreed. “Yes, we have a deal.”
“One more thing,” Moose stated. “I know a river otter who can supply you with rocks, as well. I will tell you of his whereabouts if you give me an extra three days worth of food.Rabbit and Squirrel looked at each other, and exchanged looks. it was clear that they were up to something horrible.
The next morning, Little Squirrel hearing two voices.
“Fifteen of ‘em? That sure is a lot.”
“Yup, we’re gonna need that much in to show ‘em what we can do.”

They seemed to be building some sort of structure. There were two large sticks placed into the ground and connected with multiple strings of sap. “That seems pretty harmless,” Little Squirrel said to himself, and started to walk away, until he heard something that stopped him in his tracks.
“Let’s load ‘em up!” Squirrel yelled. Little Squirrel all of a sudden got confused and turned back around. He saw Rabbit placing rocks on the sap, and flinging them towards targets at extremely high speeds. Little Squirrel was horrified. He wanted to say something to Rabbit and Squirrel, but he knew they wouldn’t listen. Instead, he decided to do nothing, because he thought there was nothing he could do about it.
That night, all of the small animals, except Squirrel and Rabbit, went back to their homes to sleep, and the predators came out. The night seemed quiet at first, until the Fox crept near Rabbit and Squirrel. They didn’t notice her at first, until they heard a rustling noise in the bushes. She peeked her head out, and Rabbit loaded the rocks, and Squirrel fired directly at her.
“SMACK!”
Fox yelped, then ran
