The technique of the artworks contrast noticeably. The Moulin de la Galette has no open space. They cover the canvas with people, all doing different things. Some people are dancing, while others are mingling, and eating. The artstyle is very blurred and messy, things are happening very quickly in the artwork. The Bathers at Asnieres has a lot of open space, which gives it a natural more relaxed feeling. The style of this artwork is very detailed, even a single blade of grass can be seen. The placement of the colors are also similar, for example the vivid reds of both paintings are mainly used only to create clothing or accessories of the people. The use of dark orange can also be found in similar areas of each painting such as on the scalp of the focal points and on accenting points of the trees. The shades of the colors are the only difference between the pieces yet the contrast is still minute. The colors in the artworks are related, but the detail is very
