The author believes that standardized testing holds teachers and schools accountable. The author believes that standardized testing allows students located in various schools, districts, and even states to be compared. The author believes that standardized tests are objective in nature. The author believes that standardized tests provide accurate comparisons between sub-groups. The author believes that standardized testing evaluates a student’s performance on one day and does not consider external factors. The author believes that standardized testing causes many teachers to only “teach to the tests”. The author believes that standardized testing only evaluates the individual performance of the student instead of the overall growth of that student over the course of the year. Too many ad vacation about teachers progress in the classroom. The author believes that tests are based on radicalism- the belief that anything is not necessarily. Standardized tests are a complete waste of time. The only reason the author agree on is when corrupt officials have the data readily available to show progress in schools.
Some aspect as to why standardized testing is not needed. In my opinion standardized testing was never need from the beginning. These tests only confused and create problems down the line of a scholars path to obtaining academic success.

The author believes that there are two types of test. One is the norm-referenced test and
The other one is the criterion -reference test. The author believes both are a waste of time on evaluating student progress.one compares scores in bias of the other. One test is to determine testing with peers while the other one test with the curriculum.
Personally, I can agree on the authors tone of perception. Both test is a waste of time. Why are there really two test to measure student ability to learn, we will never find a good answer, only more
