In the past term, I completed multiple labs including determining transpiration in bean plant leave and testing bacterial resistance to antibiotics through bacterial transcription. As a kinesthetic learner, I was delighted to be able to work with the material. Moreover, this style of interacting learning proved to be overwhelmingly beneficial as it both increased my passion for biology to unprecedented levels and introduced me to the skills of proper laboratory technique that I can use for the rest of my life. I have always enjoyed biology, but in this new learning environment, I was able to thrive. My favorite part of biology is how everything ties together. Organs work together to produce a functioning organism, organisms cooperate to make a population, and populations interact to make ecosystems. Because of my love for the subject area, the course has left an unparalleled impact on my life. It has taught me to look at the world around me with a new found inquisitive disposition. As I now analyze both the body as well as the rest of the natural world around me under a new lens, I have become aware of the overwhelming complexity that make up the biological earth. This inquisitive nature matched with my academic prowess abled me to soar to unimaginable heights. Throughout the year, I have investigated the world and learned all that it has to
