Some argue that B.A.S.E. jumping can also be an exciting and sufficient experience. In the article Duane stated that jumpers must have landing cards and liability and rescue insurance to allow B.A.S.E. jumping to be invulnerable. Though Boenish received attention from a large number of people for his new invention, the outcome he faced from his last B.A.S.E. jump was not at all successful. Boenish knew that the cliff he jumped off of was a “suicidal cliff” and continued to jump which left him deceased and his friends and family to grieve.
