Description of the problem:
Traditional burials are becoming a problem because with the knowledge of perfected and modernized burials, we could save lives, improve our planet, and increase our life span here on earth. Money, values, and morals are the causes of this problem. People don 't have the resources to bury their dead the way they wish to and modernizing burials is quite expensive technology. Also, people around the world have different values and morals to bury their deceased and sudden change does not come easy. This problem has remained old fashioned and unsolved because it is tightly connected with people’s beliefs, emotions, family tension emerges, and religious conflicts arise. I have also quoted from a book called " Grave Matters: A Journey through the Modern Funeral Industry to a Natural Way of Burial " written by the Stetson University graduate and member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, Mark Harris. In addition, I quoted Amy Biegelsen from her article called “America’s Looming Burial Crisis”. My last resource I used was another article from The New York Times called "City Cemeteries Face Gridlock." written by a reporter named Marc Santora. I plan to use information from the Federal Trade Commission and more statistical based resources.
