There has been only one problematic; King Lear wanted his daughters to speak on how much they love him. Goneril speaks and tells her father she loves him ‘more than words can wield the matter’ and her father give her a portion of the kingdom. Regan spokes next and claims her for her father and that she loves more than Goneril. Regan received her portion as well. When it was Cordelia, the youngest turn, she replies “nothing “being honest and spoke from the heart being truthful. Lear says to Cordelia, “Nothing will come of nothing speak again” Cordelia spoke again “unhappy that I am. I cannot heave. Cordelia wanted to care for him and then she sent her soldiers to search for her father. Lear has hidden from her in the cornfields, draping himself in the weeds and flowers and singing madly to himself. Cordelia sends one hundred of her soldiers to find Lear and bring him back. She consults with a doctor about Lear’s chances for recovering his sanity. The doctor tells her that what Lear, most needs was sleep and that there are medicines that can make him sleep her loved her father; she began the healing and forgiveness by sending for her father.
