Britvic show that they do this as the owner of the organisation found out that customers needed a cheap way to get Vitamin C, by doing this he managed to make bottles of juice with Vitamin C that stayed fresh for longer.

Micro
A micro environment helps show how an organisation can serve its customers. Britvic have many competitors so they therefore need to collect market research, this means that they can produce the best drink to attract new and old customers to buy their product, due to the amount of competition this should make Britvic work as hard as possible to create the best product.
Suppliers are also another micro environment factor within Britvic. Britvic need the supplier as without it they wouldn’t have a product to sell. The organisation needs the supplier to produce a good quality product in time so that they can be sold but also so that they don’t run out of products. If this was to happen they could lose customers.
Macro

Britvic could use focus groups to collect information. A focus group is a discussion between a selected group of people and an experienced researcher. People will be asked for their view on the organisations products. This can then help get an idea on what the public think about the product. This then means Britvic can work on what the public believe the product needs to improve on, by trying to change that they can increase sales.
