Subject: Leadership After careful and lengthy observations, I have determined that a change in leadership within the Blackberry company is vital. Blackberry needs a leader who is; innovative, passionate, patient, confident, and tolerant. These are the qualities that need to be found in the company's leaders, unfortunately these requisites have yet to be met. In order to attain the perfect new leader the contingency theory needs to be put into place. This theory would fit perfectly in the company as it would encourage employees by offering extrinsic rewards and not just an intrinsic reward. Leader - member relations is what keeps an organization up and running bad communication leads to bad performance. Finding a leader with superior soft skills will help the company advance. Everyone wants to feel comfortable in their place of work providing with the leader they deserve will allow this to happen. With this said, I really hope you take my advice into consideration and I hope to hear back soon.
