If there is a dangerous item, remove it from the scene. If the item is non removable, wait until Emergency Services arrive.

WARNING: Failure of removal of dangerous items can result in harm to you and victim.
Put gloves on.
Latex gloves will protect you from any bodily fluids or other dangers that the person may have conducted.
WARNING: Failure to put on gloves may result in contaminating yourself with hazardous body fluids.
See if the person is conscious or unconscious.
If the person is conscious, they most likely will not need CPR. If the person is unconscious, begin CPR.
Call Emergency Services.
Using a phone, call Emergency Services (Dial 9-1-1) and tell them the situation. Tell the operator what the emergency is, if the person is conscious or unconscious, what is happening now, where your location is, and the number you are calling from.
DANGER: Failure of not calling Emergency Services will result in the death of the victim.
Note: The Emergency Services Operator may try to call you back for more information, so keep the phone near you at all times.
