The problem beginning years ago when interviewee met husband, he was getting himself into trouble with the police by hanging around with friends with bad influences which harm husband by creating a criminal record. Interviewee stated the reason that husband has a court hearing with immigration is because husband had got mistaken by a roommate that was living with them a couple years ago, When ICE appeared in their home search and look for interviewee stepfather’s brother due to an open case. Interviewee stated that husband was the only male at home and ICE took him into custody, the husband stay in jail for a couple of months into his court hearing. At this time, judge decided for husband will be allow to stay living in the United States, but the case will remain open. The presenting problem is that interviewee is feeling overwhelm with husband legal problem and family would like to find free legal assistance, due family is going through a lot of financial issues. Interviewee stated that if husband gets deported she will lose everything her apartment, being financially stable and her family will be affected emotionally. Secondly, I would prioritize on helping family finding free legal services, and third helping interviewee feel comfortable leaving her son in the care of a daycare that are well train to deal with any health problem.
The interviewee views her presenting problem as a stressful situation that will affect her relationship with her husband and will destroy her children, in case if husband has to leave the country. Interviewee stated that she had been through a lot with her husband since the beginning of the relationship, when husband was not stable
