He followed up with a family doctor about a week later and requested some direction on chiropractic treatment. The doctor encouraged him to get electronic stimulation treatment at a chiropractor’s office. The plaintiff was then seen several times by Dr. Cary Camp, a chiropractor in Talladega. He claims lost wages of $253.00.
Regarding damages, the plaintiff claims total special damages in the amount of $5,582.20. This includes an emergency room bill of $3,915.00 which we have yet to confirm through our own subpoena. However, with four X-rays, this does not seem to be an extra ordinary amount. What I would like to confirm in that bill is the presents of any collateral sources. I tried my best to get the information straight from the plaintiff’s attorney, but he does not seem very interested in committing much effort to this case.
