Liberty Nursing Center is a profit-oriented corporation nursing center which is one of the 17 communities, owned and managed by ‘Liberty Health Care Corporation’. The menu is also determined by the prescription made by the dietician for each resident.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping department makes sure that the physical hygiene of the facility is maintained with periodic mopping and cleaning. This department is also responsible for daily laundry and ensuring that no clothes get misplaced.
Psychiatric and counseling services: Periodic review of antipsychotic medications is one of the elements of Quality Assurance of the NH which is strictly followed by Nursing department and updated in Minimum Data Set ( MDS). In addition, the change in behavior of any resident is always placed in the priority of nursing care plan in the facility.
Skilled nursing care: Assesses the residents for physical and cognitive limitations and develop a care plan for optimizing their skills as much as possible in order to carry out basic ADLs and basic safety measures; and, modify related tools.
Therapy (Occupational, Speech and Physical therapy): Offers a collaborative approach to formulate a care plan to meet the rehabilitation needs of a resident, implement prescribed treatment and evaluate the …show more content…
Summer cookouts as well as annual festivals and events are some outdoor activities which ensures the residents do not enclosed.
Religious services: Every Thursday, LNC organizes catholic communion and worship and pray for spiritual wellbeing.
Social Worker
An on-site beauty/barber shop: Every Monday, a beautician visits the facility for weekly hairdo, coloring and trimming of the residents.
A diverse activities program: Activity department organizes different daily group activities for all the residents and one-on-one session for bed bound residents to provide adequate sensory and motor stimulation.
