It can have detrimental effects on many people’s lives, and there are distinct factors in modern society responsible for. Causes of Stress and It’s Impact on Employee
There are many different reasons that can cause job stress in the workplace nowadays. Nearly everyone admits that job stress occurs mostly from the conditions of the work they are doing, the environment that they are working in, the way workers communicate, and last but not least, the individual differences with each worker characteristics. While the significance of worker characteristics cannot be neglected, there is studied evidence which shows that some working conditions are stressful to most people. Those working conditions can change by manager changing the scope, environment. through "The Job Design".

The first and dominant approach, Stress Management Training concentrates on training a person’s ability to solve with stress. The second approach focuses on the work environment, helping people to develop stress-generating working conditions. For instance: Managers should apply a participative leadership style which allow involvement of as many subordinates as possible in handling problems related to stress-producing. Managers need to advance working condition by equipping enough tools and create a better workplace culture such as watching for signs of anxiety or bullying or workplace discrimination (based on race, gender, national origin, religion, or language. Besides, manager should monitor employees’ workload to ensure it is in line with their capabilities and resources. Last but not least, providing work schedules that are reasonable with demands and responsibilities outside the job. Thirdly, employ characteristics in “the job design” adding elements in order to help employee in raising responsibility by giving them opportunities to participate in decisions and actions that affect their jobs. By including employee in decision making and listening to their opinions they would feel that they are an important asset of the company and that their opinion counts.
