In doing so, the military should also leverage civilian, and commercial space industry training opportunities. The space community as a whole should look for out of the box professional education opportunities. This would give both of these opportunities to help shape the knowledge level of the space community as a whole. This would assist with reducing costs and rely on subject matter experts in a specific field.
As the U.S. moves forward with its national space program, the next ten to twenty years will be more important than any other time in history. It is at a pivotal crossroad technologically. The space exploration program is in dire need of a heavy space launch vehicle that will propel the robots and humans for generations to come.
