This is affirmation that I did indeed read the entire book.
The main idea of this book was a theological synopsis of the purpose, directives and effects of Pentecostal leadership in the local Church and workplace. Charlie Self gives a strong position on the work of Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of ministry. Whether that ministry be in the local church, the workplace or the classroom, Self’s view is that Christ must be the center of all we do and the Holy Spirit must be our inspiration.

These real-life illustrations help us to understand how we can take the message of Christ into every aspect of our lives and ministries. Pentecostal Leadership becomes more than just preaching good messages on Sunday Mornings, but it means communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that the congregation can take it with them on Monday and share it with the people they work and interact with. As long as the message of Christ stays in the church, it will never complete the task of Acts 1:8. The message of Pentecost give us power to become witnesses throughout the world.
