Churchill’s influence on obtaining the support of his fellow cabinet members and creating a full party government was a key factor that helped Churchill become so strong. Churchill was able to successfully inspire and influence his cabinet to not surrender after France had been taken by Germany. Although it was easy to throw in the towel and surrender as well, which most of the cabinet wanted, Churchill influenced them otherwise. He promised to keep fighting, he told them that Britain is a strong independent country and it could fight Germany alone. Churchill wanted to keep fighting until the end, he said that Britain would go down fighting and no other way . This speech moved the cabinet and Churchill had his needed strong support from his government to continue leading Britain through the war.
Throughout the war Churchill worked closely with Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin, Leader of the Soviet Union to not only defeat the Axis Powers, but also to plan for after the war. Though the hard time of war, Churchill was able to build up and influence a large and strong nation. His leadership style of strong communication, and wit contributed to the influence Churchill had on the World War. Churchill’s courage was always present because he believed so strongly in the victory of his country he never surrender or stood down when times got hard. Instead he rose up in times of hardship and urged on his country to do the same. Speeches were a major part of Churchill’s influence as they brought the entire nation a sense of hope and unity, while his actions brought reassuring hope that ensured victory for the allies. Churchill’s influence on the war through the brilliant decisions he made as a leader but also through the connection he made with his people. He was seen as a man to trust because Churchill trusted the people. This relationship Churchill made was with everyone he met and this influence was the biggest of all that he had placed in the war, making him the most influential man of the Allies
