Martin Luther King Jr. The powerful leader was known for his “nonviolent tactics... (that) he could adopt and apply to the southern battle for equality through the bus boycotts” (History.com, Civil Rights Movement). The reverend was especially known for his speech on Washington that was broadcasted all over the media and vocally recorded by the label of Motown and lives through all of American history.
