Clinical psychology is a subfield in psychology that its goal is to change the behavior to its normal form by focusing on mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders. For obtaining the state’s licensure, the psychologist has to receive his/her doctorate, has completed two years of internship, and has passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (bls.gov). For renewing the licenses, psychologists need to constantly take continuing education courses (bls.gov).
