Fitzgerald’s use of color symbolism is quintessentially the best image of the lavishness and revolutionary change of Americans in the 20’s. Society as a whole evolved the use of color to represent emotions, actions, suggestions,or ideas authors have. Fitzgerald utilizes this tool to ultimately imput his perspective into history. The use of color symbolism ultimately evolves literature and adds another level of character development and overall tone of the
