The Nubians were a stable and fairly wealthy civilization. Both the Nubians and the Babylonians grew cotton for clothing. Although it was only the Nubians who used the Red Sea for trade. The Akkadians also had a strong economy. Akkadians gained most of the wealth through trade, similar to the Nubians. But the Akkadians were the only ones to be know for trading building stone. Civilizations that came after the Nubians used Nubian architecture as a base for more buildings which helped advance architecture further. The Akkadians contributed further advances in cuneiform. Without the advances that the Akkadians made, modern day archeologist would have nothing to base ancient life on. The Akkadians had writings upon writings that archeologist have found and deciphered to construct daily life back in ancient times. The Babylonians gave the Code of Hammurabi.
