The UAE in the past was basically a desert, it was just like any other desert you see in this day but even though it had nothing on land, there were riches under it that transformed the country to what it is now. Both countries have their own customs and specific etiquettes. Let’s start off with Japan. In Japan when you greet a person you give them a bow as a sign of respect the person will also give a bow back, you usually take a bow until the waist and that should suffice. Table manners are really important in Japanese culture, You must sit properly and before digging in it is polite to say ‘’Itadakismasu’’ which means I will receive your food, then you can start eating. Japanese tables usually serves a hot towel wet towel so that you wash your hands before eating, also this might sound weird but, slurping while eating noodles for example isn’t a bad thing, it actually means that you are enjoying their food and they would surely love to hear that. Tipping in Japan is a little insulting in their customs, in their ways a price is a price, no more, no less. Before entering a house in Japan you must take your shoes off at the entrance, even at business hotels! Usually a shoe rack will be provided near the entrance for you to place your shoes in then a pair of guest slippers shall be handed out to you . It is extremely a bad thing if you reenter a room wearing slippers that have been running across dirty linoleum. Let’s start off on Japan. Japans economy is the now the third largest in the world and the fourth largest by purchasing power and it is the world’s second largest developed countries. It has one of the largest electronic goods industries and also most modern transportation manufacturing. Japan focuses on high-tech and precision goods, such as optical instruments , hybrid vehicles and robotics. As for the UAE , it is the second largest in the Arab world in economy. The UAE economy relies extremely on oil, Dubai is the UAE most dependent on oil revenues. Petroleum and natural gases continues to play a central role in the economy. Although Dubai suffered from a significant economic crisis in the tear 2007 until 2010 and was bailed out by Abu Dhabi’s oil wealth, which puts Dubai in extreme debt to Abu Dhabi. Tourism is one of the main sources of income in the UAE because the UAE can provide the most luxurious vacation in hotels or parks or clubs, the higher the cost, the more luxurious and amazing experience. UAE now is less dependent on natural resources as a source of revenues. UAE has also many modern transportation and one of the best, top airports in the world which is Duabi Airport, millions on people all over the world come to Dubai for a vacation or even to live there. After all the economic transformation UAE has been through it is now a member of the World Trade Organization and OPEC.
