That changes everything!” He exclaimed, “You’re all probably still in the system, if I can find your passports, then you guys will be off the hoo-” Suddenly, a loud alarm went off, startling the police officer. He ushered us out of the building, along with the others that were there. We sat for around ten minutes, while the fire alarm kept blaring. We were afraid that we did something wrong, yet at the same time, we were thinking about how great of a story this would make once we got home, Finally, it shut off and we went back inside.
“That’s never happened before!” The officer laughed as we walked back to his desk, “It was a fire alarm test. It won’t take me long to find your information in the system, you guys just need to hang tight for a second.” He typed our names into the computer and waited for a minute while it loaded. “Okay, here we go, he walked over to his printer and grabbed five pieces of paper. “Here you go, these papers have your passport numbers on them.” He said, giving my mom the
