From Ancient Greek, Eros, from the Greek deity Eros, means passionate love with sensual desire and longing. The Japanese language uses three words that are used to describe "love" as it is used in the English language. The term ai (愛), which is associated with maternal love or selfless love, the terms koi (恋) used to represent romantic love, and ren'ai (恋愛). In addition, love is also used in religion. God and his love for his people are related together in various religions, particularly in Christianity and Islam. Christians believe that love comes from God. There are many famous verses in the Christian bible about love. 1st Corinthians 13: 4-7, which states "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts always hopes, and always perseveres." It also talks about love in John 3: 16-17, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
