In gyms and health clubs throughout the world the typical workout consists of isolation movements and extended aerobic sessions. Bodybuilders isolate muscle groups and break them down to develop each singularly spread out through a week to week program. This is a bit counter productive to the functionality of the human anatomy. Think about it, you bend down and help a family member or neighbor move a couch, which requires what, a multitude of muscles to perform this movement. If you are strictly bodybuilding and isolating your muscles they will not be accustomed to functionality, or working as a complete group to perform a task, or “lift”. By bodybuilding you in turn are hindering the functionality that we as humans are genetically mad up to apply in our daily lives.
