2) According to the class lecture, Ancient Greeks found theater to be very important in their culture because it was educational. In the theater they learn to engage in tragic dramas. They learn history, because the only way of understanding and observing knowledge was through the theater. Everyone was involved to sing, dance and perform. Ethics was another reason as to why Ancient Greeks believed theater was important. The ethical aspect of theater was to learn something about yourself through any character or performer on stage.
