The refractive index for the longer wavelengths (red) is lower than for the shorter wavelength (violet). This leads to a large angle of refraction for the longer wavelengths than shorter wavelengths. When light emerges from the other side of the prism, we see the various wavelengths dispersed to show different colors of the spectrum.

Absorption occurs when the light comes in contact with the substance, and is covered. When light waves strike the development of a substance, its energy is transferred into heat. The material is then absorbed by the light, because it is heated.
Fig.No.2.11 (a) – Absorption
2.5.2. Reflection occurs when light is reflected from the shiny surface. Waves of light come into contact with the surface and then bouncing on the same frequency and angle. Fig.No.2.11 (b) – Reflection
2.5.3. Transmission Light transmitted through the materials (such as glass), which we think is clear. Transmission occurs when light passes through a substance without change, as shown below. Fig.No.2.11 (c) – Transmission
Transparent materials often allow the transfer of certain types of light, but not others. For example, the glass allows visible light transmission, but not UV light, so you do not get a tan while sitting in a sunny window.
2.5.4. Refraction occurs when the light enters the material and slows down. The slower the speed of light bend in substance, so that it comes out in a different place than if it was just passed. Fig.No.2.11 (d) – …show more content…
It basically averages have become standards, they have been chosen at the beginning of manufacturing a color film, as a choice for various emulsions, to be sensitive (daylight film, tungsten film, etc.).
There are variations on these standards, but it's a good start for understanding the relationship between the different colored light sources. It is important to keep in mind that even the "red light is technically a lower color temperature, it is often described as warm. The bluish light, which has a higher color temperature, is described as healthy. In this case, the warmer and the cooler do not describe the color temperature.
Color
The color of such an everyday occurrence that we usually do not give it much thought. But color can produce surprising effects, as well. For example: On the way it is mixed together.
Color in three different ways and below...
Made of points: Many printed color images are not solid color in general, and sea points in three or four different colors.
Colored Shadows: Funny things happen when colored lights cast shadows. Use the simulation of such lights to see how it works.
Stellar spectra, astronomers can look at the stars and say that the star is made of. When the light will appear, separated in the spectrum, and figure elements of the spectral
