During the 1100-1300s, the Middle Eastern Middle Ages Empire emerged from Arabia, and the Islamic forces conquered much of the Eastern Empire and Persia. During this time, the Eastern Middle Ages progressed rapidly and they were well advanced in terms of medicine, logistics and technology. The Western Middle Ages were restricted from advancing, and they gathered much of their knowledge from the Eastern Empire. As a result, the Eastern Middle Ages became substantially more advanced.
