Every time her kingdom is under a threat and in danger, she would make it to where their is no more trouble. She would do anything to keep her kingdom safe for her people, and getting everything they need. She even would not let Mary Queen of Scots take her throne. “So she had Mary on something like house arrest, but had her beheaded in 1587” (Huso). She had to do this so that she could keep her kingdom, and not let her enemies take her throne. She stayed strong for her people, she was not going to let them down as she was their queen. As she was queen there were a lot of things trying to get in her way. “But her life took a perilous turn” (Britannica school). As she was queen there was so much that could get in her way. Like her step mother, or people trying to kill her, stuff like that. Her step mother tried to take the throne by marrying someone that was close to the king, but it did not work. Even when there are people after her throne she stayed strong inspiring so many people. “ Elizabeth I was a blend of shrewdness, courage, and majestic self-display inspired ardent expressions of loyalty and helped unify the nation against foreign enemies” (Britannica school). Still till this day, people look up to Elizabeth I and they see this woman who knows what she wanted for her kingdom, for herself, and for her people. Still today people are learning about her, being inspired by her. She stands for what most women want to be a strong independent women. They sit there saying that this is how they want people to see them, as a strong independent person. Not having to depend on someone to do everything for them. They want to be like her, a strong, independent woman. Being able to do things on their own. Not always having to have someone do it for them. At some point you will see that Elizabeth I is every women dream, to be that woman that can do things for herself. Not having someone do it for you, to be that independent person. Elizabeth I was honored when she was alive and after she had died.“ So for Queen Elizabeth I’s 100th birthday a watercolor painting was commissioned by the Royal Household, it was by Hugh Buchanan” (Lambirth). She had died at the age of 69, and for her 100th birthday they did this for her even though she was not there anymore. That she was not there to even see it. See Elizabeth I loved art, she had a huge collection. “She had all kinds of art in her collection” ( Lambirth). She loved art, and this shows that she had a heart for her people’s art and talent.
