While as a graduate student, I participated in a summer school program of Irish Studies at Queens University in Belfast, Norther Ireland. While there, I learned about Irish History, Culture, and an in-depth look at The Troubles. They …show more content…
I was responsible to the day-to-day operation of the main security desk. I was responsible for dispatching patrol officers to service calls as well as any alarms that were to do off throughout the day and dispatch the appropriate officer. While working for Allied Universal, I obtained my IL Permanent Employee Registration Card, which allows me to work as a Security Officer and I obtained my IL Firearm Control Card, which is a license to carry a firearm as a security officer. I am also certified how to use and carry ASP Baton, Handcuffs, OC Spray, and an ECD Device (Taser).
Some of my personal interests consist of traveling, technology, as well as keeping up to date with current events. I have had an interest in traveling ever since I completed my semester abroad. It gave me a different view of the world and it broadened my horizon. Since completing the semester abroad, I have traveled to various parts of the world. I have travelled through Europe. I have been to China, and as far south as French Polynesia. Even with all that traveling, I want to see more of the world. I also like keeping up to date with what going on in the world regarding current events and the technology
