They set the rules that we all follow. These rules are called laws, and they provide the stability we have. They are the what keep us straight. Thanks to these laws, we are able to live freely, the way that we do. It seems as though OUR government is split into three different parts. These parts are called branches. They each have their own jobs and responsibilities, and have the same amount of power. This way, they are all equal, since none is above the other in terms of power. Let’s go check out these different branches, to get a better understanding of them and what they do.
One of the branches, is called the Legislative branch. They are made up of two houses of Congress. These are the Senate and The House of Representatives.
