Generating Public Awareness to Climate Change Ever since Earth came into its existence, its climate has always been shifting. From the boiling lava of the earth’s crust in its early developing stages to the Ice Age thousands of years ago, the earth’s weather has never stayed consistent. However, no one can truly pinpoint as to why the climate is changing or the its effects. In Joseph F. C. However, this is because politicians use selective words from prevailing scientists along with the conclusions of outlying scientists (5). In addition, the authors acknowledge that not everyone minimizes the effects of climate change (4). Unlike the government, many citizens are taking action on climate change (5). In response, the authors assume that the community would like to better understand the issue of climate change and include additional sub-claim as to why the public may not understand climate change. Climate change is a controversial topic that disputes whether or not global warming is an issue. Although global climate is a major issue among scientists and politicians, many people do not genuinely understand the issue, do not think it is significant, and do not deem to be a political concern.
