Netball shows this as men’s netball teams are not a usual. To improve the gender deficiency in netball the sport needs to be advertised as both a men’s and a women’s sport. This as well as giving men’s netball air time on TV will increase the amount of participation of young men wanting to participate in the sport. The local club can advertise the introduction of a men’s netball team and participants will join. This would increase men understanding that it is okay for them to play netball and also introducing younger boys to the sport and eventually joining the local netball club. This would increase opportunity for men to play at a state level and even worldwide as they would have a better opportunity at getting to the level needed. This would give young people a chance to see that netball is a sport which they can play and that it is not just a girls sport but a mixed sport.
