Me: Great! My first one is ‘Tell me about a memorable experience you have in health care.’
Theresa: Well, I am not sure how to answer this question because you want me to talk about health care, and there are many facets of health care that I could tell you that I experienced. Since this is for your class that involves medicine, I suppose I will tell you “what you want to hear”. Here we go. As a thirty-nine year old woman, I feel the need as a female to have health care to secure my life. If I was diagnosed with cancer, for instance, I would eventually have to undergo chemotherapy and need this procedure to be financially covered. Thus, I would depend on Medicare, an element we see in health care. Otherwise, I think we would be at a disadvantage if we did not have any health care insurance in this situation.
