The purpose of this poster is to motivate and persuade citizens to serve in the war effort. The tools and techniques used in this poster are Images and text. The image in the poster involves many different type of citizens dressed in a variety of uniforms, emphasizing that there is a job for everyone. An example of this is in the poster “Front-Line Breakdowns Can Lose Battles That’s why OUR Workmanship Counts”. This poster is to inform and again motivate workers to give their one hundred and ten percent when working. It is placing fear in the workers that if they don’t work to their full potential and a machine breaks because of a manufacturing problem then the workers are responsible for losing that battle and are responsible for the lives lost during that battle because they didn’t want to work hard.
