Twenty years later, I was still trying to figure out the jigsaw puzzle of life. After what seemed like a lifetime of dedication and hard work, I found myself in one of the best hospitals in Pakistan, as a novice intern tasked with taking care of extremely sick patients. Initially, I felt overwhelmed and inadequate, but with the help of my mentors, the high patient influx and diversity of cases allowed me to quickly gather confidence. I learned to rely on my clinical expertise with limited resources.
