One type of love is unrequited love. Unrequited love is when one person loves somebody, but the person they love does not love them back. In Romeo and Juliet Romeo loves Rosaline, but she does not love him back. He talks about how it was love at first sight, but he is very sad because he knows that she does not love him back. This is an example of unrequited love.
