I did not choose the topic of presentation until 4 days before it, which turned out that most interesting topics had already been chosen by my classmates. Though time was limited for me to prepare for the presentation, I felt calm and prepared my presentation in an organized way. To evaluate the preparation, the powerpoint could have been elaborated in a better way and more detailed information could have been included if I had started on the preparation early. And though Xirui’s question seemed tricky, it was not hard to find his logical mistake that he equaled democratic society to a perfect society without any problems and simply categorized high power distance as a stumbling stone. Moreover, because I studied the power distance distribution map before the presentation and kept some countries’ power distance index in mind, I was able to point out that, France, as a democratic country, has a high power distance which shows that democracy does not has a necessary connection with power distance. I felt a little bit uncomfortable when Xirui raised this question, because I had to explain in front of the audiences that his opinions were narrow and flawed, as the same time, in a polite and respectable way. Though I behaved in a relatively natural way to deal with these two questions, the following situation was totally beyond my expectation. Osborn mistook other’s illustration as mine and asked a question that actually did not concern with my presentation. Even though Xirui’s question seemed tricky and obstructive, as least it related to my presentation. But how should I handle with some speaker that did not pay
