Summary of Film Directing
Professional film making generally takes the input of hundreds of people, but among the most important in the production process is the film director. While the actors of the film are the face of the final product, a film can be made without actors, but a director must be present for the film to be made. The director is the leader or supervisor during the making of a film; without the director, the film making process would be chaotic and no film would be made.
There are generally four different types of film directors namely: i) The writer director; ii) The actor 's director; iii) The visionary director; and iv) The poet. All these directors, despite the slight differences in their job types and approaches, are generally responsible for making a majority of creative decisions during the making of a film. Directors work closely with actors, who personify the film’s story, and the film producer or producer, who is responsible for reviewing the film and managing the film production staff.
