He has deliberately stated that he is having fun now that He is free. I can continue to love him and knowing that God's grace is upon them eve though they are foolishly running from God. God has shown many times that He is willing to wait patiently for any sinner to repent. The tax collectors and sinners gathered to hear Jesus but the pharisees hated it. Jesus points out that Heaven rejoices for one sinner that repents just like a found lost sheep. God makes it clear that he does not condone sin but rejoices when a sinner repents. Therefore who are we to give up on them.
2) In my own experience, one of my brothers has been a lost sheep as he has chosen a path to partying and drinking. He has resorted to not reasoning about that the path of life he has taken leads to destruction. I think we put our arms around him by not stopping loving him. We cannot tolerated his sin but we still consider him a brother. This person has been lost by his own actions as he was brought up by parents who did not drink, smoke or party but God fearing parents. If we are good stewards of little things it is a sign of how we can act as stewards of big things. By teaching yourself to be stingy it brings about selfishness which then leads hoarding of wealth instead of blessing others. God blesses us and then we pass on the blessings to others.
3) One cannot serve both God and money equally both of them demands equal time. It is impossible to be committed to two masters. Each has a set of conditions and requirements to follow. The ambition for serving God and money is doomed for failure as God wants exclusive claims over our lives and money demands exclusive allegiance of our time. Either one has to be brought under the control of the other. Therefore one either God is in control or money is in control of your life.
4). The rich man showed the same selfishness that he had before he died because even though he was in hell he still saw Lazarus as a beggar. This shown by the way he calls him to come and give him water, but respects Father Abraham. He could not see that Lazarus was on the good side and kept his view of can beggars be on the good side even in
