The natural world is a more known concept when it comes to the readings of Genesis. The first book in the bible claims, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). We know that God created Eve to stand by Adam. Verse 18 says, “The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him”” (Genesis 2:18). God creates Eve and tells Adam that when Adam leaves his father and mother to marry Eve or to be united they become one flesh. Marriage is a blissful occasion and is a celebration in most cultures, but it can also have times of stress and despair. We find this when Eve eats the apple off the tree, she immediately blames everyone but herself in the situation. A lot of time in relationships we are quick to blame others and we do not realize or do not want to realize that we are the ones that have fallen short. This is true for all relationships and not just a marriage. By reading this passage it is easy to see a big downfall that our worldview has on marriage and where it comes from. Our world is very quick to divorce a spouse when a problem arises. If Eve had not eaten the forbidden fruit we would not find this prominent today. We can see that in just a few chapters of Genesis that relationships are slowly
