I remember being lost and confused for months about what exactly gluten was and what I was supposed to eat in replacement of the various gluten products I was so used to eating, but it forced me to do a lot of research. I eventually found that consuming whole foods was the best route to go. This huge, terrifying life change suddenly began to feel like nothing more than a blessing. I had to eat healthier as a result of this intolerance or sensitivity.
The reason I say this is because I have had to cut out items such as pizza, cookies, crackers, and all of those other processed food products. There are gluten-free alternatives to all of these, but they weren’t so commonplace in my …show more content…
